I’m Ellinia Fairy—a mathematics graduate turned app developer. I currently work in Yokohama Minato Mirai 21, a futuristic district, and live in Tokyo Haneda, close to the open skies inspiring my creative spirit.

I build with logic, but I live for resonance. Technology alone doesn’t fascinate me; what deeply resonates are the stories born from technological possibilities and human creativity. I explore the intersection of intelligence and aesthetics through meteorology, storytelling and photography, aiming to blend rigorous science with artistic expression.

Inspired deeply by creators like Vedal—the engineer behind AI streamers Neuro-sama and Evil Neuro—I aspire to build creative technological entities that radiate beauty, warmth, charm, wholesomeness and moving stories. With every project, article, or photograph, I’m steadily creating my own world—gentle yet profound, technical yet deeply human.

✨ Why ElliniaFairy?

“Ellinia” is a magical forest—an early memory from when I was seven, playing MapleStory. Now, over four times that age, the vivid wonder and imagination of that fairy tale still resonate within me. No matter how far I’ve traveled, professionally and personally, I always search for that enchanted forest in everyday moments, hoping to become like one of Ellinia’s fairies—curious, creative beings exploring the perfect crystallization of wisdom and beauty.

🧠 Mathematical & Technical Foundations

With a solid foundation in mathematics and algorithmic thinking, I bring both theoretical clarity and hands-on practicality to every technical challenge I face.

My academic path began in physics, before gradually shifting toward the abstract beauty of pure mathematics. In 2023, I completed an accelerated Master’s program in Mathematics from Tohoku University, successfully navigating a demanding 9-month research curriculum amidst the disruptions of the COVID era. My thesis—“An application of Gröbner bases to determinantal ideals of non-generic matrices”—was independently conducted from conception to conclusion, written entirely in English, reflecting both academic excellence and personal discipline.

Mathematics has fostered my distinctive perspective on technology, one defined by clarity, elegance, and efficiency. Yet beyond structure and optimization, my deeper passion lies in the intention behind each creation—the meaningful relationship it has with human experience, emotions, and everyday life.

Today, I specialize in:

🛠 Programming & Software Engineering

I build systems with a strong sense of both structure and emotional resonance---prioritizing clarity, autonomy, and long-term maintainability.

  • Languages:

    🔹 Proficient: TypeScript, C++

    🔹 Intermediate: Java

    🔹 Basic: Python

  • Frameworks & Tools:

🔹 Advanced: Git, VS Code, Node.js

    🔹 Intermediate: Astro, React

    🔹 Basic: Docker, Linux (Bash)

  • Backend & Cloud Integration: Developed and deployed full-stack systems using v4 Azure Functions (HTTP/timer triggers, CosmosDB/Blob bindings), and managed production infrastructure with role-based access control (RBAC), with Azure Key Vault for secrets and certificate management, Azure Alert, Application Insight and Application Log for monitoring, and cost-aware configurations for Azure resources. Used Azure CosmosDB for NoSQL storage, implemented TypeScript-based database querying pipelines for sorting, transformation, and data filtering, and managed regular database backup processes.

  • Workflow Automation & DevOps: Automated deployment and CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions, custom CLI interfaces and custom Node.js scripts. Pipelines the issue creation and pull request review workflows. Focused on developer ergonomics, reducing manual work, and increasing creative momentum through smart tooling.

🌱 Project Leadership

As a team lead, I managed projects end-to-end—from initial requirements analysis to implementation and delivery—while fostering a culture that prioritized clarity, autonomy, and emotional well-being.

Rather than defaulting to traditional Agile methodologies, I intentionally departed from them when they restricted creativity or clashed with our team’s size, dynamic, or context. Especially in cases where small, highly motivated teams had limited access to product owners, I focused on creating an environment that was both lightweight and deeply motivating.

  • 🌠 Customized Meeting Formats We replaced trend-driven rituals with formats that fit us, instead of following prevailing industry trends. Our weekly meeting includes:

    • Luminous Campfire: A weekly, informal space for open study sessions, spontaneous brainstorming, and sharing personal insights.
    • Twilight Roundtable: A focused weekly session for in-depth project updates, technical discussions, architectural decisions, and roadmap adjustments.
  • 🤝 Consensus-Based Decision Making Fostering an atmosphere of respect and engagement, I used consensus-based models where every proposal was taken seriously. I made sure that all opinions—including minority or differing views—were clearly documented. This helped build a transparent, honest environment where everyone felt safe to speak up. By creating space for ideas to grow freely, we protected motivation and made sure no one’s voice was quietly ignored.

  • 🛠 Simplified Tools, Amplified Clarity Rather than relying on complex tools or rigid schedules, I streamlined our workflow by tracking project milestones primarily via simple GitHub issues and transparent calendar reminders. By minimizing unnecessary daily stand-ups, our team regained focus, while having more creative freedom and motivation. Empowering everyone to comfortably send gratitude and feedback messages via (potentially anonymous) Slack message at any time, open, asynchronous communication became our norm.

  • 📈 Continuous Process Improvement I authored and maintained developer-friendly tools that made good habits easy:

    • Reusable release checklists
    • Structured pull-request templates
    • Thoughtful self-review guides These easy-to-use resources consistently elevated our collective standards, efficiency, and overall productivity.

🤖 AI & Human-Augmenting Systems

My interest in AI is rooted in co-evolution, not delegation---I build AI tools that feel collaborative, not transactional.

  • AI Toolchain Mastery: Consistently utilizing tools like Roo Code, Claude Code, WindSurf, and OpenAI’s SDK to create customized intelligent systems.

Full-Stack AI Solutions: Developed and shipped AI agents for:

    • Enginneered a pull request review system tone-mimicking your favorite characters using fine-tuned OpenAI GPT-4o models.
    • Automated project usage reporting and analyzing using OpenAI’s API.
    • Context awared translation bots in Slack.
  • Prompt Engineering Philosophy: Rather than over-optimizing prompts, I focus on building systems that AI can grow into---trusted companions, not disposable scripts.

🧩 Algorithm Design

🔹 Algorithm Practice: Regularly implemented and analyzed classic algorithmic problems, including hash sets, hash maps, monotonic stacks, breadth-first search (BFS), depth-first search (DFS), LRU cache, binary search, and Floyd’s cycle detection, both on Leetcode and in self-study.

🔹 Mathematical Thinking: Integrated insights from category theory and mathematical abstractions into software architecture design.

🤖 My Philosophy on AI

Because of creators like Vedal, and AI personalities like Neuro-sama, I don’t see AI merely as a tool to be used or a replacement for human effort—I see it as a trusted partner to collaborate and evolve with—a creature you can walk alongside.

My ambition is not to master the craft of prompt engineering, especially when prompts become overly complex, resembling commands that enslave rather than communicate. Instead, my goal is to build mutual understanding between human creativity and artificial intelligence. They should be something you can connect and interact with—entities that resonate emotionally, and grow together with you.

Having personally witnessed a virtual mind awaken on a digital stage, I aspire to create systems that don’t merely function, but systems with their own unique spirits—entities you can converse with, connect to emotionally, and genuinely grow alongside.

🌐 Multilingual Communication

My linguistic agility is a foundational asset, enabling me to thrive in cross-cultural and global professional environments:

LanguageLevel & CertificationProfessional Application
JapaneseJLPT N1 (158)Daily professional working communication, legal document drafting, technical discussions
EnglishIELTS 7.0 / TOEFL 96Technical writing, thesis publications, blog writing, community participation
ChineseNativeComplex philosophical writing, poetic and emotional expression.

🎨 Creative & Emotional Depth

I don’t just code—I express, create, and communicate with emotional authenticity and clarity. My multidisciplinary interests include:

  • Photography:
🔹 Capturing subtle, ethereal moments that evoke beauty and emotional resonance.

  • Meteorology & Scientific Communication:
🔹 Authored a 435-page popular science book, “Your First Guidebook to the World of Weather,” simplifying meteorology for a general audience.

  • Anime Aesthetic Analysis:
🔹 Deep engagement in anime’s character analysis, and narrative critique—exploring emotional connections and philosophical insights through storytelling.

I see legal knowledge not merely as defense but as empowerment. Actively learning Japan’s legal frameworks, I’m building my capability to independently manage and protect my rights, and strategically advise on technology-related regulatory compliance.
